Massage is one of the oldest healing arts: Chinese records dating back 3,000 years document its use; the ancient Hindus, Persians and Egyptians applied forms of massage for many ailments. The benefits of massage are many. This includes relieving back pain, arthritis, bursitis, fatigue, high blood pressure, diabetes, immunity issues, depression and more. Massage also helps relieve the stress and tension of everyday living that can lead to disease and illness.
Types of massage therapies include...
*Swedish massage involves the use of hands and forearms to manipulate the layers of the muscles to improve mental and physical health. Active or passive movement of the joints may also be part of the massage.
*Deep Tissue/Therapeutic massage is similar to Swedish massage but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension and areas with scarification or adhesions (knots). The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).
*Allergy Relief massage is simply a general massage that focuses
on the face, neck, shoulders and back and uses essential oils of peppermint or eucalyptus to help relieve sinus/allergy issues.

Cupping Massage - NEW!
“Where there’s stagnation, there will be pain. Remove the stagnation, and you remove the pain.”
Cupping is the term applied to a technique that uses small cups as suction devices that are placed on the skin to break up stagnation and congestion by drawing blood and Chi energy to the surface. In dry cupping a flame is used to create heat inside the cups which creates a suction. Silicone cups may also be used for rounded and difficult areas of the body.
Once the suction has occurred, the cups can be gently moved across the skin. This is called Cupping Massage.
Therapeutic Cupping is the use of cups that are applied and left to rest on areas of stagnation rather than being moved as a part of the massage.
*Note: Cupping may leave marks for several days.*
